Julie Hauer’s paintings reflect her experiences, emotions, and take us through a thought and transformation process of ‘being’.
The artist expresses herself freely on the canvas; the colour and its movements swaying between extreme restraint and free, sensitive spontaneity. The creative process, the textures and components lead to abstract and contemplative artworks. Emptiness holds an important place in her work and highlights the balance between the psychic intention and the energy of doing.
She lives and works on Reunion Island.
